Frank advised that our booking was with another agent but I then pointed out that that was not correct either as I had access to there confirmation and they were also booked with the agent 'the hotel company' he had no answer. I then advised that again that was not true as he had already confirmed a booking had been made and that in the case with the other people families booked with you at the same resort and flights had also contacted the hotel and their booking was confirmed. Frank then advised that booking might only be confirm 8 to 10 days before holiday. I then asked frank again to confirm that Teletex had made a booking with le royal holiday resort in my name as I had spoken with a ABTA representative and you again confirmed you had I advised I was recording the conversation as after speaking to le royal holiday resort direct the had no record of any booking ever being made. I then rang back two hours later and spoke to Marcus you eventually put me through to frank. He advised that he had spoken to you and you would ring me back within one hour which you never did. I then advised him I had recorded the conversation and could play it back to him. Samson then said he would get you frank to call me when I said to him that he had tried to deceive me by telling me you had left he said he had never said you had left for the day. I then asked to speak to someone else but Samson advised all supervisors were busy I again said I would hold. On Friday 5th June I rang back as advised and asked to speak to you a representative called Samson who initially advised you were busy, then when I said I would hold he said you had left for the day. After speaking to you it was agreed you would speak to your agent to see if the original booking could be kept as we were travelling with other families who had also booked with you the same flights and hotel. We spoke directly Thursday evening where I was advised that you had definitely made a booking in my name at le royal via your agent but due to an operational issue with you could not advise the actual details the booking was now cancelled. Then on Thursday 4th June I received your email advising there was an operational issue with my booking at le royal and we would have to choose an alternative hotel or have our hotel money refunded. At that point I was advised there was no problem with my hotel booking and it was booked with le royal holiday resort. Upon highlighting this to the Teletex customer service representative I then had to book the flights through teletex but pay monarch direct which I did. At the same time however I had checked the monarch website and the flights were still available for the original cost. I was advised the flights were no longer available from monarch and that I would need to fly with a different company and pay additional costs as the flights were now dearer with the other company. It was at this point I was advised that you cancelled the flights in November and had not advised me. Only after advising what our friends had been advised about the cancellation that I was emailed and advised someone would call me that day after two further emails as nobody rang me even though again the emails promised somebody would no body rang me I was force to ring you myself. I then sent three emails in January asking if everything was ok with our booking first to be told everything was ok and advising when to pay the balance. The original booking was made in September when a deposit was paid.Īpparently in November Teletex holidays cancelled our flight booking without informing me it was only in January when a friend who is booked on the same flight and at our original hotel the le royal holiday resort arranged to pay their balance only to be advise there flights had been cancelled when she asked about our flights she was advised that they were cancelled as well My issue with Teletext Holidays please see email I wrote advising all the issues I had I am still awaiting a reply.
